The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Chief and Deputy Chief Ministers yesterday met with the UK’s Minister for Europe, David Lidington, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The men discussed a number of ‘relevant and topical issues’ including frontier delays, the Spanish frontier works, and the continuing incursions into BGTW by Spanish state vessels.
