Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Ministry of Culture’s annual Poetry Competition was hailed for receiving a record number of entries, yesterday, as the winners, runners up and highly commended candidates were awarded their prizes of a trophy and cash prize, or certificate and pen donated by the Gibraltar Chronicle.
The Gibraltar Football Association’s Youth Section are actively seeking candidates to take up the position of Head Coach for the under 9, under 11 and under 13 Youth National Team. Applicants are required to be in possession of (minimum) a FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate.
Tonight will hail the return of Channel 5 docu-series Gibraltar: Britain in the Sun. Season 3’s inaugural episode, to air tonight at 9pm local time, will follow a host of new faces, including this Summer’s Miss Gibraltar Contestants, and their journey through the pageant.
