Having made note of concerns raised by Gibraltar Football fans during games played at the National team’s home grounds, the Estadio Algarve, in Faro Portugal, the GFA has insisted that they are ‘keeping all of [their] options open in relation to the Venue that [they] will use to host their home European Qualifiers in 2015.’
On Friday afternoon the first Gibraltar Medallions of Honour and Distinction ceremony was held aboard the Sunborn hotel. The reception was attended by many key figures in the community as well as friends and family of the recipients.
A young local singer is in the finals of Star Central Magazine’s Unsigned Male Artist competition. There will be a Royal Gibraltar Regiment parade on Saturday 4th October to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Regiment.
