The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

Long term friend of Gibraltar UK Parliamentarian Jim Dobbin passed away this weekend. Mr. Dobbin was the Chairman of the All Party Gibraltar group in the House of Commons, and was expected in Gibraltar for National Day this week.
Both the Government and the Opposition notes his death with sadness. The Government noted that he was ‘a tireless supporter of Gibraltar and his contribution will be sorely missed’. The Government sends its most sincere condolences to his wife and family.
