Aug 29 - La Linea Rally Protests Employment and Tax Havens
This evening at 7:30 pm a host of workers unions and social groups from La Linea and Gibraltar will protest against a variation of issues including the employment situation n La Linea, tax havens and frontier queues.
Aug 29 - Care Agency Elderly Residents Visit The Gibraltar Fair
The annual visit to the fair for residents of the Care Agency Residential Services is proving ever more popular as the years go by. The evening consists of a stroll around the fair and the participation in some of the traditional fairground attractions. Residents are entertained whilst taking supper at the Family Pavilion and the evening is rounded off with hot chocolate and churros.
Aug 29 - Man Rescued After Jumping Into Water by Tradewinds
Rumours that a man drowned last night circulated around Ocean Village today. The RGP this afternoon confirmed that in the early hours of this morning a man suffering from mental illness jumped into the marina in Ocean Village, by Tradewinds.
