Sep 03 - Tourist Board Offers Souvenir Passport Stamp
Gibraltar Tourist Board will soon be introducing a new voluntary passport souvenir stamp which visitors will be able to obtain as an official memento of their visit to the Rock.
The idea developed by locally based accountant Eran Shay, has also been conceived as an innovative promotional tool for the Gibraltar tourist product as it includes the GTB website address www.visitgibraltar.gi
Sep 03 - Royal Navy's Biggest Vessel Visits the Rock
'Britain’s biggest warship', the helicopter carrier and assault ship HMS Ocean will conduct a boat transfer in British Gibraltar Territorial Waters tomorrow.
HMS Ocean has emerged from a scheduled period of maintenance, having received a substantial upgrade in capability and is part of the Cougar 14 Task Force.
Sep 03 - Minister Isola Hosts Financial Services Lunch In Hong Kong
Yesterday, Albert Isola, Minister with responsibility for Financial Services, hosted a financial services lunch at the Landmark Oriental in Hong Kong's central business district. The lunch was attended by some 60 funds, asset management and hedge funds professionals based in Hong Kong. A delegation from Gibraltar's funds industry was also present at the lunch.
