Aug 11 - GHA Approves Breast Cancer Drug that NHS Believes to be Too Expensive
In a statement issued earlier today, the GHA has announced that it will be funding the prescription drug Kadcyla, which can extend patients suffering with breast cancer's lives by up to 6 months. Dr John Cortes, Minister for Health said "The GHA strives as far as possible to exceed UK guidelines as we aim to achieve ever better standards and services."
Aug 08 - Heritage Trust Concerned About Loss Of Colonial Houses
The Gibraltar Heritage Trust says that it thanks the Government for its response to its concerns about the past demolition of ex-MOD married quarters but stresses that its original press release did not, at any point, make any reference to the present administration or point any finger of blame. The Trust says that it was simply expressing its concern about the gradual trend in the last 10 years of the loss of these houses and their replacement by millionaire mansions.
Aug 08 - Gibraltar V Poland European Qualifier Tickets
The Gibraltar FA has this afternoon announced that tickets for Gibraltar V Poland, Gibraltar’s first ever European Qualifier, will go on Sale as from Monday 11th August, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, (Mondays to Fridays), from the GFA’s Box Office located in the John Mackintosh Hall.
