European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The Chief Minister left Gibraltar yesterday for a visit to Malta where he will pay a call on the British High Commissioner before holding meetings with Maltese national officials to discuss matters of bilateral commercial importance. He will return to the Rock on Wednesday.
The Government has said that the Leader of the Opposition is “intent on trying to undermine everything that the Government does, even when it is positive for Gibraltar and for the persons directly affected.”
The RGP was this year happy to take part in the fun run organised by STM Group in aid of Gibraltar’s Guardian Angel Foundation which took place on Saturday.
Following reports of tampering and damage having been caused to Natwest ATM (cash tills) on Wednesday and Thursday last week, the RGP mounted an operation resulting in the arrest of Lulian Ciocan, born 23.04.1984, a Rumanian national residing in La Linea, Spain.
