European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
As works on the Sunborn project advance, in preparation of the ship’s arrival, in less than 3 weeks time, the five star yacht hotel is looking to recruit up to 200 individuals to fill permanent roles on the ship.
This Thursday a recruitment open day will be organised by Sunborn Gibraltar at their development offices within Sotheby’s, on Ocean Village Promenade, as from 2 – 7pm. The event will give candidates an opportunity to discover more about job opportunities on the flotel, and meet the team. Candidates are asked to bring an updated CV.
For it’s second annual Super Yacht Forum. RegisterAYacht.com will host an afternoon in the Wessex Lounge of Gibraltar’s International Airport on Thursday 6th June. The forum is set to gather representatives of all areas of the yachting industry, in order to discuss and analyse the state of the industry by participating in panel debates, with a special focus on marketing and branding, legal and fiscal issues, brokerage and the impact of superyachts in transit through the Strait of Gibraltar.

On Saturday 8th June, the Juan Chipol 5 Aside Women’s Tournament will be held at the Tercentenary Sports Hall from 10:30 am to 2pm. The five teams taking part will include Manchester Red, who will play Manchester White, College Cosmos who will play College White and College Back, who are set to play against Manchester Red later that morning.
