Cancer Relief All Day Coffee Morning
After 3 years, Cancer Relief Gibraltar’s Coffee morning will be returning on Friday 30th September at the Calpe Rowing Club. This year, the event is being held as an all day event.

ESG Says It’s “Very Sad” To See Impact Of Oil On Seven Sisters Coastline
Mere days after ESG volunteers for Clean up the World removed large amounts of plastics and other non-organic waste from Seven Sisters shoreline, its southern section got plastered in thick tarry oil from OS 35. The organisation says this is “very bad news for the area”, which is a thriving ecosystem and Marine Reserve. It’s also an area where fishing is forbidden and many can enjoy the rich marine life present via the Thinking Green underwater camera situated here.
Government Ministers Become Dementia Friends
This morning, ahead of the weekly Cabinet meeting, Ministers, staff of the Chief Minister’s Office at No.6 Convent Place and Mrs Picardo, took part in a Dementia Friends session held by the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society. This is in line with the Government’s policy, set out in the Gibraltar National Dementia Strategy, of making Gibraltar a dementia friendly community. The session took part before the last Cabinet meeting held within September, World Alzheimer’s Month.
