Unite The Union And Mitie Agree Significant Pay Deal For Staff
Unite the Union and Mitie Defence Ltd have reached an agreement for the 2022/2023 pay award.
All employees will receive a flat rate fully consolidated £2000 basic pay increase, retrospective to the 1st January 2022 for one bargaining group. Two other bargaining groups will receive the retrospective payments, from April or July 2022 respectively based upon their pay settlement dates.

Childline Gibraltar Seeking More Volunteers
Over the last couple of years, callouts to Childline’s Appropriate Adult service have tripled. Furthermore, in what has been our busiest year to date, Childline’s Appropriate Adult Service has offered over 7 times more support to children this year, in comparison to 3 years ago. During last month alone, August 2022, there were 13 such calls and Childline is now looking to recruit more people to join its team of Appropriate Adult volunteers.
