Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
In order to share expertise, the Foreign Office invited 15 high-ranking police officers from across the Commonwealth nations to take part in a Police Observer Programme. Among them was the Royal Gibraltar Police’s Superintendent Mark Wyan, who spent five days in Birmingham, to see what the RGP could learn from the experience.
The University of Gibraltar has opened their ‘clearing’ or late application window, allowing prospective students to submit their application to study up until Friday 26th August.
