Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.

Childline Gibraltar have announced that they have been accepted as a member of Child Helpline International (CHI), a global network of child helplines that provide care and protection to children and young people in need.

The Government have issued a statement advising members of the public that although the official bathing season commences on the 21st June, the Supported Needs and Disability Office (SNDO) and the Department of the Environment have this year worked together to ensure that persons with disabilities have had access to the sea as from April.
