Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
On the 28th June, the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, widely considered as the catalyst to the Gay liberation movement, the Minister for Equality launched Gibraltar’s first online LGBTQ+ Survey. The aim of the survey is for HM Government of Gibraltar, through the Ministry of Equality to learn about the different issues that affect LGBTQ+ people in Gibraltar. This survey provides an anonymous platform for the LGBTQ+ community to have their voices heard.
The Minister for the Port and Maritime Services, Vijay Daryanani, is in London this week to participate in London International Shipping week (LISW). He will be accompanied by John Ghio from the Gibraltar Port Authority and Dylan Cocklan from the Maritime Administration.
Miss Gibraltar 2021, Janice Sampere, has signed the Official Entry Form to participate at the Miss World Finals which will take place on Thursday 16th December in Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan.
