Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The GSD has noted that the Government has placed online limited financial information in respect of some fifty five Government, Gibraltar Development Corporation (“GDC”) or Gibraltar Savings Bank controlled companies. The balance sheets, mostly draft and unaudited with no income statement, directors’ report or notes render the information of no value to the public nor provide any assurance.
