A local 38 year old woman, Sonia Bossino of 61/15 Prince Edwards Road was today sentenced to sixteen months imprisonment by Mr Justice Black. The sentence followed a guilty plea in the Supreme Court to a charge of Forgery.
Resurfacing at the political forefront for the first time in 13 years, GSLP by-election candidate and successful local lawyer, Albert Isola, this morning officially signed on for the election at the House of Assembly.
Presented to the press as an old friend of the party and a member who had, since he left Parliament in 2000 to focus on his law firm and growing family, been an essential player within the party during the 2007 and 2011 General Election campaigns.

The GSD welcomes the Government’s announcement that it will ban the sale of tobacco in certain Government estates. In fact, it is clear for everyone to see that this activity has been on the increase in Gibraltar over the last year, unfortunately worsened by the economic recession in Spain. At no point have we suggested that this is down to the Government of Gibraltar.
