The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
The Strategic Coordinating Group monitoring Legionnaire’s Disease met yesterday afternoon at No 6 Convent Place. The meeting was chaired by the Minister for Health and Care, Gemma Arias-Vasquez, and was attended by the Minister for Civil Contingencies, Leslie Bruzon.

The Gibraltar Heritage Trust has opened pre-orders for the follow up publication to the popular ‘A Rocky Labyrinth’ which charts the history of Gibraltar’s streets of the city. ‘Beyond the Ramparts: The History Gibraltar’s Roads, Streets and Lanes beyond the City Walls’ is also written by Manolo Galliano, with Photographs, maps, and illustrations by Victor Hermida L.R.P.S and will be arriving imminently.
