Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Gibraltar Heritage Trust will be holding a seminar over two evenings to launch and celebrate the 30th edition of the Gibraltar Heritage Journal. The seminar will take place on the 15th and 16th October in The Mayor’s Parlour, City Hall, with the launch at 6pm on the 15th October.
Three new recruits were sworn in this week and took the first steps of their military career at a ceremony held at Battalion Headquarters in Devil’s Tower Camp, witnessed by family members.
The Special Needs Action Group (SNAG) has said that today is a “very sad day for Gibraltar” after a family protested outside Number Six to highlight the problems faced by their daughter.
