The idea for the event was coined in 2007 by WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald. In order to participate, individuals must turn off all lights in their home or business for one hour.

Mar 21 - Drug Charges

rgpDaniel Young, aged 19, of 8/10 Booth’s Passage was yesterday 20th March convicted in the Magistrates Court for possession of 8.77 grams of Cannabis resin and possession with intent to supply of 2.6 grams of Cannabis resin. He was sentenced to six months imprisonment.

Young received no separate penalty on a further count of possession with intent to supply of a class ‘C’ drug, 20 x 2mg tablets of Alprazolam.

Mar 21 - TA Soldiers Retire

cbfTA soldier CSgt Llanelo was given a leaving presentation by Commanding Officer Lt Col Colin Risso following 39 years of service.

CSgt Llanelo joined the Regiment in 1974 and has remained an Infantryman throughout his career. As a Cpl he was a section commander and part of the Recruit Training Team, he undertook numerous courses while serving including Range Management and NBC Instructor and his final role is B Company Training SNCO.
